High Holidays in the age of Covid

The High Holidays are approaching, and they present a unique challenge: How can the Jewish community experience them in a way that is both safe and meaningful?

We’ve got you covered. We are providing a range of programs and services for this new type of “New Year.” With your help we will ensure that everyone who wants to can celebrate this month of Holidays in the best possible manner.
Safe outdoor High Holiday Services , individual shofar-blowing at Chabad and in neighborhoods across the Shoreline. RSVP
For those at home we will train in the techniques and rules in sounding the shofar. We will supply shofars and prayer books at cost. We will also provide complimentary Jewish New Year Kits, & a children’s program for home.
Catered Rosh Hashanah Dinners will delivered locally to the Shoreline. For anyone struggling financially, we will cover the costs. Order your Lulav and Esrog Set for Sukkot and we can even help you put up your own Sukkah.

Chabad will follow health guidelines by holding services in open outdoor tents with social distancing and masks. If that doesn’t work for you, we will be able to sound the Shofar for you after services for an outdoor, individual shofar-blowing. Ten minutes from start to finish, and you did the mitzvah (commandment) of the day!
