 Intellectual history of the Jewish people: A survey through the ages of great books, great ideas, and great people.

Fall Course: The Mystical Tradition in Judaism-Introducing the Sages through the ages who revealed the mysteries and inner workings of G-d, creation, and man. Experience a world of deeper meaning as we encounter the Prophets, Kabbalists and Chasidic rebbes and get a taste of their teachings.
6 week course. Tuesdays 7:30PM –9:00 PM November 8, 15, 22, 29, December 6, 13.

 

Winter Course: Explore the history of the development of the structure and words of the Jewish Prayer Book. Uncover the ideas, beliefs and emotions that are the underpinnings of our Prayer book. Meet the prophets, sages, mystics and poets through the ages that joined together in the collaborative effort to create our prayers.
6 week course. Tuesdays 7:30 PM –9:00 PM January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 February 7.
